Deputy Speaker of House of Nationalities Aye Thar Aung Attends “China Tourism Night”
On the night of March 1, local time, Naypyidaw, the capital city of Myanmar, staged the China Tourism Night at the dazzling and fully packed grand theatre of the No.2 International Convention Center. The event was co-organized by CNTA, the provincial government of Yunnan and Chinese embassy to Myanmar. Among the 2,000-plus audience were Deputy Speaker of House of Nationalities Aye Thar Aung, heads of the budget committee and the law compliance committee of the Union of Assembly, Union Minister of Health and Sports Myint Htwe, CNTA vice chairman Du Jiang, Yunnan’s vice governor Chen Shun and Chinese ambassador to Myanmar Hong Liang.
Performers from Yunnan entertained the crowd with the bamboo flute, the peacock dance and folk songs, etc. winning thunderous applauses.
