On behalf of CNTA and CNTA Chairman Li Jinzao, Du Jiang extended gratitude to the Indonesian government for their assistance given to Chinese tourists affected by the Argonne volcanic eruption in 2017. He introduced the dynamics of China’s tourism industry in recent years, hoping to share tourism development opportunities with Indonesia. He said that tourism between the two countries has an enormous market and broad prospect, and China would welcome more tourists from Indonesia and encourage more Chinese people to travel to Indonesia, and is willing to work with the Indonesian side to strengthen cooperation under the multilateral framework of the ASEAN and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and take bilateral tourism exchanges to a new level.
Minister Arief Yahya thanked CNTA for the consistent support it has given to Indonesia’s tourism industry.
