Contents: The celebration of the Main Venue in China for World Tourism Day, 2008, and Rongcheng International Coastal Holiday Week was held in Rongcheng, Shandong Province. Officials and guests from the World Tourism Organization, China National Tourism Administration, Shandong Government, Shandong Tourism Administration, well-known traveling salesmen and principals of domestic travel agencies from 15 countries and regions like America, Britain, France, Russia, Canada, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan and 40 central and local media took part in the activities. This year’s World Tourism Day was on the theme of ‘Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change’.
