2008-2010 Annual Summary of the Implementation of Tourism Cooperation Plan Signed between China and Russia

(Du Jiang, the Deputy Director, and Director-General of Russia's Federal Tourism Department Singed the Minutes)

Oct. 26th, the nineteenth meeting of the Sino-Russian Committee of Humanities Cooperation was summoned up in Moscow, the capital of Russia. Liu Yangdong, state councillor of State Council of the People's Republic of China and Alexzander Zhukov, the deputy prime minister of the Russian Federation co-chaired the meeting.

The leaders of China and Russia spoke highly of bilateral cooperation of the two countries in the field of tourism, and believed that the two countries’ communication in tourism field had become an effective cooperation model in development of good-neighbourly relationship. At the same time, the two sides said that they would further strengthen promotion of tourism, cultivation of tourism talents, improvement of service quality and practical cooperation in the fields of Tourist safety and security etc.

Dujiang, as the chairman of Chinese Party in sub-committee of tourism cooperation of the Sino-Russian Humanities Cooperation Committee and the deputy director of China National Tourism Administration companied with Liu Yandong, the state councillor to attend the meeting together. After the meeting, Du Jiang and Yalochkins, the director-general of the Russian Federation Tourism Bureau signed between China and Russia 2008-2010 Annual Summary of the Implementation of a tourism cooperation plan. State Councillor Liu and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov witnessed the signing of the minutes.
