Zhu Shanzhong meets with Yin Yongshan, Director of Office of Tax System under Korean Ministry of Finance and Planning

On June 11,Vice Chairman of CNTA Zhu Shanzhong met with Yin Yongshan, director of office of tax system under Korean Ministry of Finance and Planning, and his party. The two sides exchanged their opinions on issues of common concern.
First of all, Zhu Shanzhong, on behalf of China National Tourism Administration, expressed warm welcome to the visit of Yin Yongshan and his party. Zhu said there has been close contact between the tourism industries of the two nations, and Korea is a major country of tourist source to China. CNTA will further intensify exchange and cooperation with Korea in the filed of tourism. He also pointed out that since the Reform and Opening-up, China’s tourism industry has thrived, partly due to the active support in policies and finance from the Chinese government. In recent years, both the Central Government and local governments have enlarged investment in the tourism industry. Although tourism industry of all coutries have been seriously impacted by the financial crisis, governments at all levels of China are taking positive measures to stimulate tourism consumption and encourage all citizens travel around. China’s tourism industry boasts a promising future.
Yin Yongshan learned the status quo of China’s tourist market and the positive influence of the tourism industry on economic growth, creating employment opportunities and enhancing people’s living standard. Later on, he pointed out that the tourism industry is an important industry for the growth of a nation and it plays a significant role in increasing a State’s tax revenue, and pushing forward economic growth. He anticipated better development of tourism industries of the two countries, as well as deepening exchange and cooperation in the field.
Wu Wenxue, director of Planning & Finance Department of CNTA also attended the meeting.
