Zhu Shanzhong Meets with PATA Chairman and CEO

January 28 - Zhu Shanzhong met with Phornsiri Manoharn, Chairman and Gregory Duffell, CEO of Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) at PATA headquarters in Bangkok.

 

 
Zhu Shanzhong first congratulated that Phornsiri Manoharn was honored with "Yearly Outstanding Person Award" by National Image Committee of Thailand, and appreciated her effort of deepening tourism cooperation between PATA and China National Tourism Bureau (CNTA) since taking office.

 

Zhu Shanzhong introduced that, in 2010, CNTA would promote the Expo tour in 100 domestic cities and 100 global cities. He expressed hopes for support from PATA, that PATA would encourage its members to carry out tourism promotion activities with the platform of Shanghai World Expo.

 

Phornsiri Manoharn expressed congratulation on the achievements of China tourism industry, and appreciated that CNTA had been providing long-standing support and assistance to PATA. She was confident for the prospect of China tourism industry in 2010 and said that she would actively promote the Shanghai World Expo, e.g. the PATA website would publish the press release on the World Expo tour as soon as possible, and that she would spare no effort to continue advancing the tourism cooperation between China and PATA.
