Mr. Zhu Shanzhong, Vice Chairman of China National Tourism Administration meet with a visiting delegation from Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. led by President Yoshikawa Katsuhisa on July 26 in Beijing.
At first, Mr. Zhu Shanzhong extends, on behalf of China National Tourism Administration, the sincere appreciation to Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. for its kind arrangement of the imminent Japan-bound trip for primary school students in Sichuan earthquake-hit areas. Mr. Zhu Shanzhong also speaks highly of the great contributions that Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. have done during the past years for the tourism communication of the two countries. Mr. Zhu Shanzhong notes that this imminent trip will play a great role in enhancing the mutual understanding of youth and friendship of people in the two countries.
Yoshikawa Katsuhisa expresses that Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. has been dedicating to the tourism communication and cooperation of the two countries during the past years. As of present, Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. has organized 22,000-plus Japanese tourists touring the Shanghai World Expo. Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. will, Yoshikawa Katsuhisa adds, make up its mind to bring more contributions to the society as its great mission, and spare no efforts to consistently enhance the tourism communication and cooperation between the two countries.

As co-initiated by China National Tourism Administration and Japan National Tourism Organization, organized by Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd, the activity dubbed “Let Travel Bring Back Hearty Smile to Children” is kicked off in the afternoon of the very day. Thirty students from Sichuan earthquake-hit area will head for Japan and tour the famous scenic spots together with the Japanese children in addition to some other colorful activities. Parties engaged in the activities hope that this eye-opening trip will bring back hearty smile to these disaster-stricken children and deepen the friendship between children of the two countries as well.
In addition to 80 specially tailored tents, staff of Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., Ltd. and their families also donated 579 books to Sichuan earthquake-hit areas in the wake of the devastating earthquake happened across Sichuan Province in 2008. As one of the follow-up humanism activities, this imminent trip is firmly backed by the Prefecture of Yamanashi of Japan as well as private enterprises and civil groups across Japan.
