China and the ASEAN countries are friendly close neighbors. Both people have a long history of people-to-people contacts. China is the biggest source of foreign tourists for ASEAN, and vice versa. Thus, the consensus of the Chinese and ASEAN leaders can be turned into more pragmatic cooperation results so that the tourism cooperation will be promoted to cover more areas in larger scale, Wang pointed out.
